Meet Elle-Shoko Ota

Elle-Shoko Ota is a Japanese designer with a unique design aesthetic and a wide range of ideas for all interior styles.

She took a Fashion Co-ordination course at the London Academy of Modeling and successfully received her Diploma.

Graduated New York School of Interiors, UCLA Extension, and Sheffield School of Interior.

She has designed and decorated many residences, model homes, and commercial projects such as NY Plaza Hotel Presidential Suites.

Her Rodeo Drive Chapel design was recognized in LA Times with a two-page article.

She was one of 27 designers who were selected out of over 780 applicants to renovate the “RUSSEL L. POGUE ESTATE” built by Charles Toberman in Hollywood Hills. Some of Toberman’s landmarks include the Chinese Theatre, the Egyptian Theatre, and the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel.

She believes, good design and living in a place you love is not achieved by luck. It takes good planning and research to find the right elements to create the look you want. Many people make the wrong initial steps or, worse, rely on intuition and totally ignore the basic steps of design. When this happens, you end up wasting money on things that don't fit your room. If you want to start living in a home that fits your lifestyle, feels comfortable, and is gorgeous, small change I provide can make all the difference.

She does most design styles and is an expert in window treatments. She also has a reputation for creating Japanese modern spaces.
